A free flight ticket
Unlocks once your visa is approved — never before it. We ask for the name exactly as it appears on your passport and the airport nearest you, and we book it. If your visa is refused, nothing has been booked in your name and you have lost nothing.
A month of accommodation
Unlocks once you start at the college, which is when you actually need it. We ask which city and your move-in date. It is arranged for you; you are never asked for money to release it.
Cashback, on all of them
A percentage of that programme's tuition, paid to you after you start at the college. The figure in your own currency is on the programme page. It does not reduce what the college charges — you pay them, and this comes to you from us, separately.

Never to a decision somebody makes about you behind a door. Four milestones exist, and every reward in the catalogue uses one of them.
How money works here, so you always know
- Tuition and college fees are paid to the college directly, on their own website or bank details. Never to us, and never to a person.
- We will never ask you to send money using a personal bank account, UPI, a wallet, or anybody’s own card.
- We will never ask you for a fee to apply, to be matched, or to speak to us. There is no charge for any of it.
- Everything official comes from an @unistep.app address or from inside this app. Nobody from our team will move you to a personal number to talk about payment.
If anyone asks you for money any other way — even if they say they work here, even if they know your details — do not send it. Tell us in the app and we will look into it the same day. You will never be in trouble for asking.

Is the cashback real money?
Yes. It is paid to you after you start at the college, by the method you choose — bank transfer, an e-transfer, or UPI. It is not a discount code, not a voucher, and not credit against anything.
How much is it?
It is a percentage of that programme's tuition, and it differs by programme. The exact figure in your currency is shown on the programme page before you apply, and again on your rewards page once you have. We do not publish a single number here because tuition differs by college and intake, and a figure on a marketing page would be out of date by the next intake.
Which programmes have it?
All of them. Every programme in our catalogue carries cashback, for students applying from abroad and for students already in the country. Some programmes add a perk on top — a flight ticket or a month of accommodation.
Do I have to pay anything to get it?
No. There is no fee to apply through us, no fee to be matched, no fee to speak to anyone, and no fee to release a reward. If anybody asks you for money to release one, it is not us. Tell us in the app and we will look into it the same day.
When do I actually get it?
Each reward states the milestone that unlocks it, and you can see that milestone from the day you apply. Cashback unlocks once you start at the college. A flight ticket unlocks once your visa is approved. You claim it in the app, we confirm it with the college, and then we send it.
What if my visa is refused?
Then a reward gated on a visa does not unlock, and we will not have booked anything in your name. That is exactly why a flight is tied to an approved visa rather than to an application — so a refusal costs you nothing extra.
Does the cashback reduce my tuition?
No. You pay the college what the college charges, directly to them. The cashback comes to you separately, from us, after you have started.
